Aluminum alloy extrusion is a process of extruding aluminum profiles, commonly known as "drawn aluminum" and "aluminum extrusion". The process feature is that the aluminum rod is heated to about 480 degrees through a heating furnace, and then the mold is heated to 480 degrees at the same time. Then, the heated aluminum rod is extruded through the pre-assembled mold through mechanical pressure.
There are three main steps:
1. Make the mold first. Most of the working hours of this kind of extrusion mold are about 7 to 15 days. The larger the size, the longer it takes, and the complexity is proportional to it.
2. The aluminum rod and the mold are heated to about 480 degrees at the same time, the mold is placed in the extruder die base, and the extruder is placed in the extrusion pad to operate the extruder to squeeze the raw materials.
3. After the profile is extruded, it is sent to the cooling bed for straightening and cutting to approximate size. Then it is sent to the aging furnace for artificial hardening, and the hardened aluminum profile is then subjected to the next step for post-processing (fine cutting, CNC, surface treatment, etc.).
Shengyida is one of the leading aluminum extrusion companies in China, it is a professional R&D manufacturer integrating aluminum profile mold research and development, aluminum profile extrusion, aluminum product deep processing, surface treatment, aluminum alloy die-casting and sheet metal processing.
